Live coverage of Rio 2016 kicks off with the Opening Ceremony, airing tonight (Friday, Aug. 5) at 6:30 p.m. ET on TSN, as well as on CBC, CBC News Network, online at cbc.ca/olympics, on CBC’s app for Rio 2016 and in virtual reality using the CBC Olympic Games Virtual Reality app.

Throughout the Games, SPORTSCENTRE hosts Laura Diakun, Nabil Karim, and Cory Woron anchor the network’s daily Olympic broadcast coverage from the TSN Studio.

TSN Senior Correspondent Rick Westhead and reporter Mark Masters are on-site in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to contribute daily news updates for SPORTSCENTRE.

TSN Radio, the official affiliate radio broadcaster of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in Canada, delivers live coverage of all games featuring the Canadian Women’s National Soccer Team on TSN Radio 1040 in Vancouver, TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto, TSN Radio 690 in Montréal, TSN Radio 1200 in Ottawa, TSN Radio 1260 in Edmonton, TSN Radio 1150 in Hamilton, and TSN Radio 1290 in Winnipeg.
