KENNEWICK, Wash. - Eric Comrie and Beau McCue are all the Tri-City Americans needed on Wednesday night.

Comrie stopped all 25 shots he faced and McCue had the only goal as Tri-City blanked the Edmonton Oil Kings 1-0 in Western Hockey League action.

McCue scored on the power play for the Americans (10-8-0) at the 6:40 mark of the third period.

Tristan Jarry made 20 saves for Edmonton (9-7-2).

Tri-City went 1 for 3 on the power play, while the Oil Kings could not score on their two man advantages.

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Connor Rankin scored and added two assists as Calgary beat the Raiders.

Adam Tambellini and Radel Fazleev had a goal and an assist each for the Hitmen (9-8-1), while Jordy Stallard also found the back of the net.

Craig Leverton had both goals for Prince Albert (8-10-0).

EVERETT, Wash. — Nikita Scherbak had a hat trick to lead the Silvertips past Red Deer.

Graham Millar, Carson Stadnyk and Brayden Low also scored for Everett (11-1-3).

Captain Conner Bleackley struck twice for the Rebels (8-8-2), while Tyler Sandhu added a goal.

ROCKETS 5 ROYALS 1

KELOWNA, B.C. — Captain Madison Bowey, Nick Merkley and Rourke Chartier all scored and added two assists each as the Rockets blasted Victoria.

Tyson Baillie and Justin Kirkland chipped in as well for Kelowna (15-1-1).

Brandon Magee was the lone scorer for the Royals (9-8-2).

It was an undisciplined game, with the Rockets taking 63 minutes in penalties and Victoria earning 65 penalty minutes.

Kelowna's Tyrell Goulbourne and Rodney Southam were given game misconducts, as was Ryan Gagnon of the Royals.
