BRANDON, Man. — Reid Duke scored four goals on Friday night as the Brandon Wheat Kings used a red-hot power play to rout the Saskatoon Blades 8-1 in Western Hockey League action.

Tyler Coulter had a goal and two assists for Brandon (11-7-3), which extended its win streak to four games. Zach Russell, Connor Gutenberg and Stelio Mattheos also scored and Kale Clague tacked on three helpers.

Josh Paterson responded on the power play late in the third period for the Blades (9-13-1).

Jordan Papirny made 32 saves for the win in net as Logan Flodell kicked out 36-of-44 shots for Saskatoon.

The Wheat Kings scored five times on six power plays while the Blades were 1 for 5.

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. — Nikita Popugaev had two goals and an assist as Moose Jaw slipped past the Broncos.

Noah Gregor chipped in late in the first period for the Warriors (13-4-4), who got 32 saves from Brody Willms.

Lane Pederson and Tyler Steenbergen scored on the power play for Swift Current (11-7-5). Taz Burman turned away 26 shots.

CRANBROOK, B.C. — Anatolii Elizarov scored at 2:55 of overtime and Patrick Dea made 29 saves as Edmonton edged the Ice.

Brayden Gorda and Colton Kehler had goals in regulation for the Oil Kings (9-10-2).

Barrett Sheen and Zak Zborosky chipped in for Kootenay (4-12-6) while Payton Lee stopped 35 shots.

RED DEER, Alta. — Matt Bradley had two goals and two assists as Medicine Hat downed the Rebels for its fourth win in a row.

John Dahlstrom scored two goals and an assist for the Tigers (15-5-1) as Clayton Kirichenko had a goal and two helpers. Kristians Rubins and Tyler Preziuso rounded out the attack and Nick Schneider turned aside 18 shots.

Adam Musil, on the power play, and Austin Strand scored for Red Deer (10-10-3). Lasse Petersen started and stopped 36-of-42 shots in 49:51. Riley Lamb went the rest of the way and made 11 saves.

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Ty Edmonds made 30 saves and Jesse Gabrielle scored the winner as the Cougars doubled up Prince Albert.

Jared Bethune, Kody McDonald and Colby McAuley rounded out the attack for Prince George (17-4-2), which won its third in a row.

Parker Kelly and Cavin Leth had goals for the Raiders (5-16-1) and Nicholas Sanders turned away 30 shots.

KELOWNA, B.C. — Brodan Salmond stopped 28 shots and Kole Lind had a goal and an assist as the Rockets got past Vancouver.

Cal Foote, Kyle Topping, Dillon Dube and Tomas Soustal supplied the rest of the offence for Kelowna (12-10-0).

Thomas Foster, Dawson Holt and Radovan Bondra scored for the Giants (10-13-0). Ryan Kubic kicked out 32 shots in net.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Hayden Ostir and Kailer Yamamoto scored within a minute of each other in the third period as the Chiefs beat Calgary.

Pavel Kousal and Tyson Helgesen had power-play goals, with Ondrej Najman adding the other for Spokane (8-7-5). Jayden Sittler made 14 saves.

Mark Kastelic and Matteo Gennaro found the back of the net for the Hitmen (7-9-2). Cody Porter turned away 33-of-38 shots in defeat.

KENT, Wash. — Alexander True scored a hat trick and Rylan Toth stopped 18 shots as the Thunderbirds won their third straight by edging Lethbridge.

Scott Eansor had the other for Seattle (10-8-1).
