WHL: Spacek leads Rebel's in OT win over Oil Kings
Michael Spacek scored 38 seconds into overtime, after registered two assists in regulation, to lead the Red Deer Rebels to a 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oil Kings in Western Hockey League action on Sunday. Colton Bobyk and Ivan Nikolishin had a goal and an assist apiece for the Rebels (2-0-0).

Tyler Robertson and Lane Bauer scored for Edmonton (0-1-1).
Rylan Toth started in net for Red Deer, giving up two goals on 20 shots through 56:22. Trevor Martin made three saves in 3:42.
Patrick Dea made 39 saves for the Oil Kings.

VANCOUVER — Radovan Bondra's goal 37 seconds into the second period held up as the winner as the Giants squashed Kelowna.
Jackson Houck and Ryely McKinstry had power-play goals for Vancouver (2-0-0). Taylor Crunk and Dakota Odgers also scored.
Lucas Johansen and Tomas Soustal supplied the offence for the Rockets (2-1-0). Kelowna's Dillon Dube was given a game misconduct and a major for kneeing early in the second period.
