Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio left Friday's game against the Orlando Magic with sprained left ankle and will not return.

Rubio drove to the basket late in the second quarter and drew a foul, but turned his left ankle as he landed. He immediately grabbed for the ankle and was unable to put any pressure on his left leg as he was helped to the locker room.

Rubio, who signed a four-year contract extension with Minnesota last week, had four points and six assists in just over 13 minutes before exiting. .
