The Buffalo Bills added some receiving depth on Monday with the signing of Trent Sherfield to a one-year deal.

Sherfield, 26, spent last season with the Miami Dolphins.

A native of Danville, IL, Sherfield appeared in all 17 games in 2022, recording 30 catches for 417 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Undrafted out of Vanderbilt, Sherfield is set to enter his sixth NFL season, having spent the first three seasons of his career with the Arizona Cardinals and 2021 with the San Francisco 49ers.

In 78 career games, Sherfield has recorded 67 receptions for 844 yards and four TDs.

Sherfield becomes the second addition to the Bills receiver corps in free agency with Deonte Harty signed to a two-year deal last week.

The team also released receiver Isaiah McKenzie on Friday ahead of a $250,000 roster bonus kicking in.
