TRUE NORTH BC - PART 1

Professional snowboarders Beau Bishop, Chris Rasman and Rusty Ockenden and professional skiers Anna Segal, Riley Leboe and Simon d’Artois make their way from Vancouver to Northern British Columbia on a late-season road trip in search of snow. First stop: Smithers, where the crews split up to tackle untouched terrain in the back-country.

TRUE NORTH BC - PART 2

The snowboard crew meets up with a local guide in Smithers to ride an intense first-descent line. Then, they drive four-hours north to the Alaskan border town of Stewart and hit back-country jumps in the most remote location of their journey.

TRUE NORTH BC - PART 3

The ski crew discovers the adventurous and unique nature of the Hankin-Evelyn Backcountry Recreation Area outside of Smithers, before embarking on the two-hour drive west to Terrace, where they embrace the community-driven vibe of Shames Mountain, one of the only co-op ski areas in Canada.

TRUE NORTH BC - PART 4

The snowboard crew explores the history of Stewart and tackle natural glacier sculptures before driving to Terrace. The group meets up with an old friend and is taken jet boating on the Douglas Channel. Friendly wagers are placed on crab traps and we see the natural beauty of Northern BC.

TRUE NORTH BC - PART 5

The skiers take to the world-renowned Skeena River in Terrace for a day of fishing, before returning to the Smithers region, where they board a helicopter on an unforgettable quest to tame the towering slopes of Paleo Peak.

TRUE NORTH BC - PART 6

The snowboarders battle adventurous back-country access in Terrace where they're treated to a shreddable spring-snow with a phenomenal view. From there, they return to Smithers to meet up with the skiers, where the crews join forces for a fun-filled day at Hudson Bay Mountain to cap off the trip.
