Report: Texans, RB Singletary agree on one-year $3.75 million deal

The Houston Texans have reached an agreement with free agent running back Devin Singletary on a one-year, $3.75 million contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Singletary, 25, spent the first four years of his career with the Buffalo Bills after being drafted by the club in the third round (74th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. 

He played 16 games last season, rushing for 819 yards and five touchdowns on 177 carries, adding 38 receptions for 280 yards and a touchdown. 

Singletary has amassed 3,151 career rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on 672 carries in 61 games. He has caught 145 passes for 971 yards and four touchdowns.
