Columbus Blue Jackets forward Johnny Gaudreau will miss Saturday's game in Dallas with a lower-body injury, the team announced.

This will end his consecutive games played streak at 349.

Gaudreau is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury suffered in Thursday's win over the Winnipeg Jets. The Blue Jackets did not specify how Gaudreau incurred the injury.

The 29-year-old played 17:23 of ice time Thursday, registering two shots on goal and an assist on a Patrik Laine goal in the second period.

In 55 games so far this season for the Blue Jackets, Gaudreau has 15 goals and 37 assists for 52 points. He is in the first year of a seven-year, $68.25 million deal he signed with Columbus over the summer that carries a cap hit of $9.75 million.
