Tucson, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Arizona clinched its second straight outright Pac-12 title in a most convincing fashion, with the fifth-ranked Wildcats dominating California in all facets in a 99-60 rout at the McKale Center.

Brandon Ashley led the way with a career high-tying 21 points, Kaleb Tarczewski added 14 with eight rebounds and T.J. McConnell dished out 11 assists without a turnover as Arizona (27-3, 15-2 Pac-12) kept itself in the hunt for a possible No. 1 regional seed in the NCAA Tournament.

The Wildcats had already secured the top seed in the upcoming Pac-12 Tournament with Saturday's 63-57 win at No. 13 Utah that completed a season sweep of the second-place Utes.

Arizona shot 56.7 percent from the floor, held the Golden Bears to a 38.1 percent field goal rate and opened up a 21-point lead at halftime in impressively rolling to a 13th victory in 14 games.

Tyrone Wallace paced Cal (17-13, 7-10) with 16 points in the lopsided loss, the Golden Bears' fourth defeat in its last five outings. Sam Singer finished with 13 and Christian Behrens pulled down 10 rebounds.

The game was tight through the first 7 1/2 minutes of play, before the Wildcats began starting to separate near the midway stage of the opening half.

Ashley scored the final four points of a 9-0 run that put Arizona up 25-14 at the 10-minute mark, then netted five straight later on to extend the lead to 30-16.

A Gabe York trey followed by Stanley Johnson's 3-point play ignited an 8-0 sequence later in the frame that staked the Wildcats to a 39-18 advantage four minutes prior to the intermission. Arizona cruised into the break owning a 48-27 cushion behind Ashley's 15 points and six rebounds.

The Wildcats showed no let-up following the stoppage, shooting a torrid 64.5 percent in the second half while continuing to score at will.

McConnell fed Ashley for baskets on three consecutive possessions to push the margin to 58-31 with 16 1/2 minutes to play. The lead was 38 points midway through the stanza after Arizona went on a 15-0 run to go ahead by a whopping 76-38 count.

Wildcats forward Rondae-Hollis Jefferson sat out the final 7:48 of the contest after appearing to hurt his shoulder. He finished with 10 points, while Johnson ended with 12 ... Arizona extended its home winning streak to 37 consecutive games entering Saturday's regular-season finale against Stanford ... The Wildcats outscored Cal 42-22 in the paint ... McConnell's assist total matched a career-best he set against District of Columbia on Nov. 18, 2011, while then attending Duquesne.
