BARCELONA, Spain - Barcelona says forward Pedro Rodriguez has agreed to sign a new contract that will keep him at the Spanish champions until the end of the 2018-19 season.

The 27-year-old Pedro has helped Barcelona win 18 titles, including two Champions League crowns.

He has scored 11 goals this season despite losing his starting job to Neymar and Luis Suarez.

Pedro's contract was set to expire at the end of next season.

The club says his buyout clause will remain at 150 million euros ($170 million).

On Tuesday, Barcelona said left back Jordi Alba had also agreed to extend his contract until 2020.

Barcelona plays Juventus in the Champions League final on Saturday, aiming for a fifth European Cup and a treble of titles this season.
