The Buffalo Bills have picked their starting quarterback.

The Bills will start Tyrod Taylor in Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts, head coach Rex Ryan announced on Monday.

Taylor completed 12 of 13 passes for 122 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, adding a 20-yard rushing touchdown.

He spent the first four years of his career backing up Joe Flacco with the Baltimore Ravens before signing with the Bills in March.

The 26-year-old beat out Matt Cassel and EJ Manuel for the job.
