ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - For now, Buffalo Bills safety Aaron Williams settles on being excited to be back on the field working out with his teammates.
Williams understands the bigger hurdle in showing he's fully recovered from neck surgery will happen in training camp in August when he's asked to make his first tackle.
Fully cleared by doctors to practice, Williams was among the Bills players on hand Monday, when the team opened its off-season voluntary conditioning program. The sixth-year player has been out since October, when he pulled himself from a game at Tennessee after aggravating a neck injury.
Williams is confident he'll be able to return to form and experience no after-effects. The starter is also precautious after having had two discs in his neck shaved to alleviate nerve damage.
