The UFC has found a main event for its first foray into Scotland.

Michael Bisping and Thales Leites will collide in the premier bout at UFC Fight Night 72 in Glasgow, officials announced Monday.

The event will take place on July 18 at SSE Hydro.

Bisping, ranked No. 9 among middleweights, is coming off a unanimous decision victory over C.B. Dollaway at UFC 186 in April. He is 4-4 in his last eight contests and looking to climb back into title consideration.

The 36-year-old Englishman has never competed for the middleweight championship.

Leites, the No. 10 middleweight, is riding an eight-fight win streak and is 5-0 since returning to the UFC after a brief run on a local circuit. He is 10-3 with the organization dating back to 2006.

The 33-year-old Brazilian is coming off a dominating submission victory over Tim Boetsch at UFC 183 in January.
