The Toronto Blue Jays have placed Brett Lawrie on the 15-day disabled list with a right index finger fracture.

The Blue Jays announced the move on Monday, along with the outfielders Anthony Gose and Kevin Pillar being recalled from the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons.

The Jays also optioned catcher Erik Kratz to the Bisons.

Gose has appeared in 34 games with the Blue Jays this season, hitting .233 with four RBI.

Pillar has played 24 games with the Jays in 2014, batting .243 with two RBI.

Right fielder Jose Bautista, who left the Jays' 4-3 loss to the Cincinnati Reds was set to have an MRI on Monday.  Those results have not been made public.
