PORTLAND, Maine - Alexandre Bolduc scored twice— including the winner at 15:03 of the third period— as the Portland Pirates downed the visiting St. John's IceCaps 6-4 on Friday in American Hockey League action.

Lucas Lessio, Brendan Shinnimin, Phil Lane and Francis Wathier also scored for the Pirates (37-23-6), who won their third straight game. Patrick McNeill tacked on three assists.

Jason Jaffray led the IceCaps (30-30-9) with two goals and an assist as Julien Brouillette and Chase Balisy added the others. Kyle MacKinnon chipped in with three helpers.

Portland's Mike McKenna made 24 saves for the win. Connor Hellebuyck started in net for St. John's but was lifted after allowing four goals on 13 shots in 29:44 of action. Peter Budaj took the loss in relief after turning aside 14-of-15 shots.

The Pirates went 3 for 5 on the power play while the IceCaps failed to convert on three chances with the man advantage.
