Who will take the title? Who will win the golden boot? Who's bound for relegation? TSN.ca's soccer experts make their bold predictions for the 2015-16 Premier League season.

Top Four

1. Chelsea: Last season’s title was very much built on a highly successful pre-season combined with the additions of Fabregas and Costa. Victor Moses has shone early and look for Kurt Zouma and Ruben Loftus-Cheek to become an integral ingredients. The ‘Falcao experiment’ might even drawing admiring glances from Louis van Gaal.

2. Manchester United: Now two full seasons removed from Ferguson’s retirement, the investment funds required to best ensure Old Trafford continues collecting BPL titles had not yet truly been pushed to the limit.  Van Gaal’s war chest has certainly been opened, but a 14th title remains elusive for at least one more season for Manchester’s quieter club.

3. Arsenal: Champagne football is no guarantee you uncork the bubbly come May but club legend Patrick Vieira said the ability to win ugly is. The signing of Petr Čech rightfully captured the headlines but it will be a repeat of last season, for the club which likes to describe itself as the most quintessential of English clubs.

4. Manchester City: Manuel Pellegrini has all but guaranteed another BPL title which could be viewed as desperate ploy for greater acceptance from the Etihad. Patience is wearing thin after a very poor campaign both at home and on the Continent. Team leaders Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany are far from the players they were and their influences continue to diminish.

Relegation-bound: Aston Villa (18th), Sunderland (19th), Norwich (20th).

Golden Boot: Harry Kane, Tottenham.

Top Four

1. Chelsea: The bookmakers’ favourite to win the BPL once again, and with good reason. Chelsea has the strongest spine of any team in the Premier League and has added quality cover up front for Diego Costa, in the form of Radamel Falcao.

2. Arsenal: The addition of Petr Cech from Chelsea is a massive coup for the Gunners. Is Arsene Wenger finished in the transfer market, or will he add a top-class striker? That might just close the gap on Chelsea.

3. Manchester City: Manchester City paid a remarkable 49m pounds for Raheem Sterling, a 20-year old player with less than 100 appearances to his name. City will need Sterling to live up to that fee and better out of its central defence to push Chelsea harder than they did last season.

4. Manchester United: The additions of Matteo Darmian, Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sergio Romero address deficiencies in United’s squad. Questions about the back four and Wayne Rooney's health will determine if United improves on last season’s fourth-place finish.

Relegation-bound: Leicester (18th), Norwich (19th), Watford (20th).

Golden Boot: Sergio Aguero, Manchester City.

Top Four

1. Chelsea: Chelsea were exhilarating in the first half of last season and some talked about them going unbeaten throughout. They haven’t made too many key additions – yet – but the core is still there for them to get close to that again and that is why it is right to expect Chelsea to kick on and improve rather than drop back.

2. Manchester United: United got results and did what they needed to make the top four. They have said goodbye to stars like Radamel Falcao, Robin van Persie and Angel Di Maria but they have recruited well and are expected to not only beat the 70 points from last season but also play in a way more fitting for a team like United. Can Rooney be truly elite at number nine and score 20-plus goals in that position? Sir Alex Ferguson didn’t think so.

3. Arsenal: The Gunners major problem during the last decade has been consistency. For months they can look like a champion and then drop off nowhere near when it matters or gain steam only when it is too late. Wenger’s team has now shown us for over five months that they can look like a championship winning team and were the BPL's best second-half team last season.

4. Manchester City: No team in the top four underachieved more than City. Manuel Pellegrini still has a fantastic squad to work with but far too many are excellent individual players that don’t get the best out of others. He needs to work on this and show some tactical versatility or he will not be back for another season.

Relegation-bound: Bournemouth (18th), Norwich (19th), Leicester (20th)

Golden Boot: Diego Costa, Chelsea

Top Four

1. Manchester United

2. Chelsea

3. Arsenal

4. Manchester City

Gareth's thoughts: Not much will separate the four, in what looks set to be one of the tightest campaigns in history.  With the transfer deadline set for the end of the month, it's difficult to prognosticate with time to spend.  Manchester United still has substantial budget to add.  The team has already bolstered its perennial weakness in the midfield.  It's now paramount to add a true number 9 and bonafide goalscorer.  If they can do that, it will be hard for any of the top contenders to match the overall squad depth and versatility.

Relegation-bound: Sunderland, Leicester City, Norwich.

Golden Boot: Sergio Aguero, Manchester City

The sales of Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic puts the onus on Sergio Aguero to carry the load in front of goal for Man City.  There is very little to suggest the runaway winner of last years Golden Boot with 26 goals will not do the same this season. Diego Costa is the other true candidate, but lingering hamstring and fitness concerns make him a risky bet.

Top Four

1. Chelsea

2. Manchester United

3. Arsenal

4. Manchester City

Luke's Thoughts: This will be a much closer race this time around, but with Chelsea finishing top again. Manchester United will push them hard after some big offseason signings, and Arsenal won't be far away either.

Relegation-bound: Leicester, Watford, Norwich.

Golden Boot: Harry Kane, Tottenham.

Kane finished second, five goals behind Sergio Aguero last season, but after an excellent 2014-15, the England striker has he potential to score even more goals this time around.

Top Four

1. Chelsea: The last club to win back-to-back BPL titles was Chelsea in 2004-05 an '05/06. If they can remain relatively healthy (I'm looking at you, Diego Costa's hamstring) and if loan-signing Radamel Falcao can somehow regain his form there is no reason to believe the Blues can't repeat.

2. Manchester City: City is the biggest head-scratcher of my Top Four. They could easily win the title and just as easily fall out of the Top 4 altogether. They are a soundly built squad and the addition of Raheem Sterling will only help their attack. If all the parts come together for a sustained period during the season they can most definitely unseat Chelsea.

3. Arsenal: The shocking summer transfer to obtain ex-Chelsea keeper Petr Cech has fuelled Arsenal's title hopes. While Cech may be growing somewhat long-ish in the tooth, his on/off field leadership and success will prove to be vital as Arsenal believes they have the piece to lead them to a title. Cech may just do that, but adding another top notch goal scorer definitely wouldn't hurt.

4. Manchester United: Thanks to ownership's deep pockets and Louis van Gaal's vision, Manchester United is slowly returning to a worthy top-of-the-table club. Van Gaal bolstered his midfield with the key additions of Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin and Depay which should help them become a more balanced squad. On paper they appear ready to take next step, but in my mind are still a year to two from being in my Top Three.

Relegation-bound: Watford, Norwich, Sunderland.

Golden Boot: Diego Costa, Chelsea.
