MANCHESTER, England — Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has arrived in England to conclude a move to Manchester City.

Pictures on social media on Tuesday showed the Chile international at Manchester airport. Barcelona said Saturday that the club had a "deal in principle" with City for the 33-year-old player.

Speaking earlier Tuesday at a news conference ahead of City's match against Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League playoffs, City manager Pep Guardiola said "I cannot deny what everybody knows. Barcelona were the first ones who announced contact with Manchester City but, sorry, the deal is not complete."

Bravo's imminent arrival puts the future of long-time City goalkeeper Joe Hart in more jeopardy. Hart has been dropped by Guardiola for City's first three games of the season, preferring Willy Caballero.
