CANADA -- The Canadian Football League is calling on Canadians to help make a dramatic 60-second commercial that tells the tale of all the highs and lows of the 2014 playoff journey. Fans are asked to capture and share video of their experiences throughout the playoffs and Grey Cup. The video footage captured will be used in the final commercial airing on TSN and in-stadium during the 102nd Grey Cup in Vancouver on Sunday, November 30.

Fans can submit their VIDEO footage by sharing it on any social media platform by using #TheGreyCupAd or by visiting here: http://thegreycupad.ca.

Fans are encouraged to take HORIZONTAL VIDEO of their own experience and from their own perspective - whether that's live in stadium, at home with family or at a bar with friends.

The type of video they capture is entirely up to them and might include their perspective of a game tying field goal, in the stands with their fellow fans, a kick return for a touchdown, tailgating before the big game, the agony of a defeat, celebrating a victory, a go-pro camera mounted on their television or in a bar, a player arriving to the stadium or inside the locker room.

"Whether you are a fan, a player, a cheerleader in the stadium, at home or at a bar, we want you to help us capture one of the most exciting times in Canadian sports - the journey through the playoffs and Grey Cup," said CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon. "Football is so much more than what happens between the lines. It's an entire experience, a social journey, and we want to share that story."

The 60-second television ad will show the CFL from an entirely new perspective: from the eyes of its fans.

"The opportunities are endless. We want to see the playoffs and Grey Cup how fans see it, how they experience it, how they live this journey," Cohon added.

The commercial will have to be edited together in nearly real-time in order for it to air during the Grey Cup game on November 30th. The CFL has partnered with their agency of record, Bensimon Byrne, on this initiative.
