CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Mike Condon made 26 saves and the Hamilton Bulldogs scored three unanswered goals en route to a 3-1 victory over the Charlotte Checkers in American Hockey League action on Friday.

Christian Thomas tied the game with a goal in the second period, Darren Dietz put Hamilton (3-3-2) ahead 54 seconds later, and Gabriel Dumont added an empty-net goal at 19:39 of the third period.

Chad LaRose scored the lone goal for the Checkers (2-6-0) at 19:51 of the opening frame.

Charlotte goaltender Drew MacIntyre made 20 saves in the loss.
