Quill Game All-Pros Will Strickland and Duane Watson, co-hosts of TSN 1050's #1On1 with Will & Duane, give you the News, Views and Truths on the NBA Draft Lottery, Raptors' hopes, a surprise entry into the coaching musical chairs and of course the Eastern and Western Conference Finals in this week's edition of Double Dribble.

After The First Two Games Of The Western Conference Finals, What Are Some Key Takeaways?

Watson: That the Rockets are a better team than I have given them credit for. They were in both games against the Warriors at the Roaracle and almost stole one. Their role players have done all that is asked of them, and all this without Pat Beverley. This series will be the Warriors' biggest test of the NBA Playoffs, and I'm curious to see how Coach Kerr and the Warriors respond.

Strickland: Wardell Stephen Curry is perhaps the greatest hoops marksman of all-time... already. Kevin McHale's stout, resolute and unyielding belief in his team's ability to climb out of their own grave cannot be understated in watching them come back time and again to make these contests compelling. 6'7", 230 lb. Draymond Green flexing after scoring a basket for a three-point play opportunity vs a 6'2", 175 lb octogenarian Jason Terry is a violation of All Things Hoops Holy and several vital Man Laws. Dwight David Howard is not a soft-as-a-sign-language whisper as many thought, toughing out a 19 point-17 rebound effort with a balky knee in Game 2. The Artist Formerly Known As The Human Injured Reserve List, Andrew Bogut, is possibly as vital to the Warriors overall success as... well... let's continue! Last, James Edward Harden, Jr, in the midst of shedding a history of poor playoff performances, may drop 50 in one of the Rockets' two home games in the next couple days.

After The First Two Games Of The Eastern Conference Finals, What Are Some Key Takeaways?

Watson: Beating up on the Eastern Conference doesn't mean much at the end of the day. One dimensional players like Kyle Korver can be easily neutralized in the Playoffs. LeBron James is still the greatest player on the planet. Iman Shumpert and JR Smith couldn't be happier and are playing like it right now. The Hawks have no go-to-guy so Cavaliers in four!

Strickland: LeBron James' leadership, patience and understanding of pace and space with his new teammates is a sight to see, especially with no Kevin Love or Kyrie Irving. The realization for many that the Hawks were built for the regular season and not the playoffs is setting in rapidly. This is not "Hoosiers". There will be no Cinderellas. There will be no Butlers. Tristan Thompson bet on himself by rejecting a four-year, $52M deal and has more than earned leverage at the negotiating table as the best offensive rebounder in the game with his first playoff performance. The search for the real Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver and Paul Millsap is ongoing. Good vibes for Hawks SF DeMarre Carroll, who looked like he suffered a season-ending knee injury in Game 1 only to lead his team in Game 2 in minutes, valour and testicular fortitude. Kyrie Irving may be able to sit out the rest of this series as it seems #TackleBoxSeason awaits the Hawks.

Sitting At 20th In The 2015 NBA Draft, What Player Might Be On The Board Who May Address An Immediate Need For The Raptors?

Watson: Seems like the Raptors are in a similar predicament, when they took Bruno Caboclo with the 20th pick in last year's draft. With that selection in the draft, you take the best talent available, but Masai Ujiri is not scared to take another Bruno-like pick. Particularly as Toronto gets its own D-League team, which will provide the proper environment and system to bring his young talent along under his supervision. Don't be surprised by another under-the-radar pick, as again this team doesn't need someone right now.

Strickland: Picking 20th is like Draft Purgatory! There is lots of uncertainty at the starting 4 and backup shooting guard in Toronto, with expiring contracts like longtime veteran Amir Johnson and reigning NBA 6th Man of the Year Lou Williams ready to re-up  or ship out for greener financial pastures. It might be safe to say RaptorNation would love for former University of Kentucky PF and Canadian Trey Lyles to slide down the draft board to come back across the 49th Parallel. The versatile 19-year-old Lyles may not make it that far. But other intriguing choices such as explosive PG Jerian Grant from Notre Dame, 2015 March Madness Most Outstanding Player, Duke's Tyus Jones and University of Louisville energizer PF Montrezl Harrell may be on GM Ujiri's radar.

According To An ESPN Report, Jeff Van Gundy Has Expressed Interest In The Coaching Vacancy In New Orleans. How Big Of A Game Changer Would He Be For The Pelicans?

Watson: Major. Major. Major. IF the Pelicans can stay healthy they have something special here. The Pelicans made the Playoffs missing numerous games from their core of young players in Anthony Davis, Tyreke Evans, Ryan Anderson, Jrue Holiday and Eric Gordon. Van Gundy has been out of the coaching ranks for almost a decade, so the belief he would return with something to prove and to coach one of the best young talents in the league in Davis is indeed major.

Strickland: There is no question JVG can coach. Getting the opportunity to aid in nurturing one of the most unique young talents in the game in Anthony Davis is a bonus. But while his insights on the game are provocative and his commentary fun and engaging, Van Gundy has also not coached in the NBA in six years. The game has changed pretty dramatically from the style of his rough and tumble Knicks or his grossly underachieving Rockets. The name value is there, so it will cause some ripples, but ultimately JVG stays in an ABC booth calling the game in the best league in the world.

Of The 15 Players Named To The All-NBA Teams This Week, Only Three Were From The Eastern Conference. Media Bias Or A Reflection Of Where The Talent Lies In The League?

Watson: It's just the reality. There are no other players in the East that can unseat any players from the West. John Wall? Jimmy Butler? Paul Millsap? All great campaigns, but none of them did more than those that were rightly named to the team. The West is best.

Strickland: No bias. There is a clear talent disparity in the West, though guys like Washington PG John Wall, Chicago SG Jimmy Butler and the four All-Stars from Atlanta may feel differently (READ: snubbed). But being an All-Star doesn't necessarily make you an All-Pro.
