According to Edwin Encarnacion's agent, the signing of Kendrys Morales has not closed the door on his client staying in Toronto.

Encarnacion played 75 games at first base last season and 86 games as a designated hitter. Morales played 138 games as a DH and only seven at first base.
According to TSN Baseball Insider Steve Phillips, the Blue Jays can afford Encarnacion, but not at any price. Last season, he made $10 million and hit 42 homers with 127 RBI. Now, Kinzer is asking for a five-year, $125-million deal.
