The Edmonton Eskimos signed international linebacker Donnie Baggs.

This news comes less than 24 hours after the team announced linebacker Alex Hoffman-Ellis is sidelined for 12-16 weeks with a torn right bicep.

Baggs went undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft. The 24-year-old was signed by the Dallas Cowboys but was cut in training camp.

In his four years at Texas A&M, Baggs recorded 92 tackles (43 solo), four sacks, one forced fumble and one interception in 47 games.
