As the UFC prepares for its landmark 200th Pay-Per-View event, TSN.ca asked some of the fighters involved with the card what their thoughts were on getting to be involved in such a historic event.

Mark Hunt (v. Brock Lesnar co-main event)
The whole world will be watching it will be great, they’ll probably be watching because of Brock but for me it will be great because I don’t know if people know who I am.

Cat Zingano (v. Julianna Pena)
I petitioned for it pretty hard. I campaigned for it pretty hard because I’m the kind of person that if the score is tied and there’s 30 seconds left in the game, I want that ball. I want to go win it for us and having this be a historical event with all of the people involved, I think almost everyone on the card has won a bonus of some sort at some point in their career.

There’s a lot of people that are either champions or have been contenders before or their prior champions so it’s a lot of quality athletes and I’ve always seen myself as the same and to be considered and included in a night like that its 1. I feel I belong because I want to represent us like that but 2. It’s an honour and it’s exciting and I’m glad that I have the opportunity.

Cain Velasquez (v. Travis Browne)
For me being on an awesome card like this is great but just to be back, that's what I want.  I'm a fighter that loves to fight just to be back finally it's great.  To be on this memorable card, I'm happy for that too.

Johny Hendricks (v. Kelvin Gastelum)
It’s very humbling. I keep saying it over and over again, enjoy the ride. I don’t know how long it’s going to last but enjoy it. I am out of 400-500 fighters, I don’t know how many they have, I am one of the 22 that they picked [for UFC 200]. Very humbling and very excited to showcase myself to what I can do. I’m going to be on free TV so that’s exciting for me because more people are going to watch it and maybe I can get more fans doing that. So that’s where my mindset is, really make sure you focus and stay true and really focus on Kelvin and, like I said, nothing else matters. I can’t wait to get in the Octagon and get back that W.

TJ Dillashaw (v. Raphael Assuncao)
I think it’s amazing, I’m pumped to be involved in this historical card, the biggest card the UFC has ever put on and I’m going to be involved in it.  I’ve been watching UFC ever since I was a kid, renting it at Blockbuster it’s crazy that we’re at UFC 200 and it’s cool to be a part of it.
