The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Dale Weise to a four-year, $9.4 million deal.

The 27-year-old winger scored a career-high 14 goals this season, while adding 13 assists in 71 games spilt between the Montreal Canadiens and Chicago Blackhawks. The Habs sent Weise, along with forward Thomas Fleischmann to the ‘Hawks for forward Phillip Danault and a 2018 second-round pick ahead of the trade deadline.

The 2015-16 campaign marked the final season of a two-year, $2 million contract he signed with the Canadiens in 2014.

Weise has appeared in 329 career NHL games with the Canadiens, Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks, scoring 37 goals and tallying 86 points.
