The Philadelphia Flyers have signed defenceman Radko Gudas to a four-year contract extension, the team announced Thursday.

TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reports the deal is worth $3.35 million annually for a total value of $13.4 million.

Gudas, 26, scored five goals and had nine assists in 76 games with the Flyers last season.

He was acquired by the Flyers in March 2015 in the trade that sent Braydon Coburn to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Gudas has scored 12 goals and 46 points in 202 career games.

The 2010 third-round pick was set to become a restricted free agent on July 1.
