Vancouver Giants goalie Cody Porter has been nominated by the WHL for the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week award.

The North Vancouver native has put up a 1.00 goals-against average and a .957 save percentage in his last two starts which include a 2-1 win over the Everett Silvertips on December 16th and a 1-0 loss to the
'Tips on December 27th. The rookie net minder has posted two shutouts in his first season in the WHL and has a record of 5-6-1-0.

The Giants are now the only team in the WHL to have two goaltenders nominated for the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week award this season after Payton Lee was nominated back on October 20th.
