Hellebuyck perfect in IceCaps win over Marlies
Connor Hellebuyck stopped all 23 shots he faced as the St. John's IceCaps blanked the Toronto Marlies 2-0 on Tuesday night in American Hockey League action. Patrice Cormier's short-handed goal in the second period was the eventual winner for St. John's (5-8-5), the farm team of the Winnipeg Jets. Eric O'Dell scored into an empty net in the last minute of play for some insurance.
