RALEIGH, N.C. - NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick headlines this year's electees into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame.

The hall announced its 10-person class Tuesday. The class will be inducted in May.

Hendrick is the owner of the Hendrick Motorsports racing team. He is joined by Jeff Bostic, who won three Super Bowls during a 14-year career with the Washington Redskins, and his older brother Joe, who played 10 seasons with the Cardinals franchise in St. Louis and Phoenix.

Also in the class are Charlotte Smith, the 1995 women's national basketball player of the year at North Carolina; veteran basketball official John Clougherty; N.C. State baseball player Freddie Combs; High Point basketball player Gene Littles; Duke football player Jerry McGee; sports writer Lenox Rawlings; and N.C. State women's basketball player Andrea Stinson.
