According to Yahoo Sports, Glenn Howard's rink will have a new look next season with his son, Scott replacing longtime teammate Craig Savill at lead.

Also, Wayne Middaugh rejoins the team at third while Richard Hart moves to the second position, replacing veteran Jon Mead.

The 52-year-old Howard struggled this season, failing to reach the Ontario provincial playdowns, an event he had won nine straight times before losing in the 2014 final.

"Obviously, it's been a bit of a dream for myself and my son to play together and I've realized that that's my biggest priority," Howard told Yahoo Sports. "To finish my career with my son."

The younger Howard made his Brier debut as a regular this year, playing lead for Mark Kean's Ontario foursome in Calgary. However, the Kean rink disbanded with two members joining other teams.

As for Savill, he plans to shop his world-class resume around and join another elite team with Olympic hopes.

"No ill will to Glenn. I had a great 10-year run with Glenn. Couldn't have played with a nicer guy. Very grateful for that and the years we spent together. Things don't last forever and you have to move on," Savill told Yahoo Sports.

"I'm looking forward to finding a team that has the same goals, that wants to work as hard as I do and make a run at The Olympics."
