HAMILTON - Jason Jaffray had two goals and two assists to lead the St. John's IceCaps to a 4-2 victory over the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday night in American Hockey League action.

Mike Cornell scored on the power play to open the scoring for St. John's (12-14-6), which entered the game having lost two straight. Carl Klingberg had the game-winning goal in the second period for the Winnipeg Jets affiliate.

T.J. Hensick and Maxime Macenauer both chipped in for Hamilton (13-11-5) in its first regulation loss in seven games.

Connor Hellebuyck turned aside 17 shots for the IceCaps. Dustin Tokarski, making his first start of the season after being sent down by the Montreal Canadiens earlier in the day, made 28 saves for the Bulldogs.

St. John's went 1 for 3 on the power play while Hamilton was scoreless on two chances with the man advantage.
