TURIN, Italy — Juventus is counting the cost of Saturday's hard-fought 1-0 win at Palermo after both Daniele Rugani and Kwadwo Asamoah were ruled out for six weeks.

Rugani had to be taken off after half an hour in Sicily, while Asamoah also injured his right knee in the final minutes, leaving Juventus with 10 men because Massimiliano Allegri had already used up all his substitutes.

Asamoah will need surgery after tearing cartilage and Rugani has a strained ligament. Juventus says Sunday that both are expected to return in 45 days.

It is a blow for the five-time Serie A champion with Medhi Benatia and Claudio Marchisio still out injured.

Juventus visits Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday and needs a win after drawing 0-0 with Sevilla in their opening Champions League match.
