Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry suffered a shin contusion during the team's Game 2 loss to the Washington Wizards on Tuesday, but is expected to play Game 3 on Friday night in Washington.

Lowry exited the Raptors' 117-106 loss at 5:56 of the fourth quarter after colliding with Wizards forward Paul Pierce and did not return.

The Raptors All-Star missed nine of 10 games in March and April with a back injury. The one game he did dress for in that span he exited in the first half.

Lowry enjoyed another standout regular season with the Raptors, averaging 17.8 points, 6.8 assists and an 80.8% free throw percentage over 34.5 minutes.

However, the 29-year-old has struggled in the series. In two games (30.5 minutes) he has averaged just 6.5 points, 4.0 assists and shooting an abysmal 50% from the line.

The Wizards lead the series 2-0, with Game 3 slated for Friday in Washington.
