TORONTO - Eric Faille scored twice and added an assist as the Toronto Marlies doubled up the Rochester Americans 4-2 on Sunday to wrap up their American Hockey League regular season schedule.

The Marlies (54-16-6) had already clinched first place the Eastern Conference and their 114 points is the third-best record in AHL history. Toronto will face the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the first round of the playoffs.

Jordan Hickmott and Tony Cameranesi also scored for Toronto, which got two assists from Chase Witala.

Cole Schneider had a power-play goal late in the second for the Americans (34-38-4) with Jean Dupuy adding another in the third.

Garret Sparks made 45 saves for the win in net as Linus Ullmark turned aside 38-of-41 shots in defeat.

Rochester converted once on three power plays with the Marlies being held scoreless on three opportunities with the man advantage.
