TOP THINGS TO KNOW

1. The 65th NBA All-Star Game will take place in Toronto on Sunday. It will be the first time the NBA All-Star game will be held outside of the United States.

2. Kobe Bryant, this year’s leading vote-getter, will be making what is expected to be his final All-Star appearance. Bryant will be making his 15th start in the All-Star game, the most all-time. Kobe enters Sunday’s game with 280 career points in the All-Star game, the most ever. He’ll be seeking his 5th All-Star MVP, which would move him past Bob Pettit for the most all-time.

 3. The Eastern Conference leads the all-time series, 37-27, but the Western Conference has won 4 of the last 5 games. The West defeated the East last year, 163-158, in what was the highest scoring game in All-Star history. Russell Westbrook scored 41 points en route to taking home MVP honors, 1 point shy of tying Wilt Chamberlain's All-Star Game record set in 1962.
