Sticking Around:  LeBron James had 41 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists, and Kyrie Irving also scored 41 as the Cleveland Cavaliers staved off NBA Finals elimination with a 112-97 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 last night. The Cavs took advantage of the absent Draymond Green, who was suspended for a flagrant foul. The Warriors lead the series 3-2 and have another chance to clinch back-to-back titles on Thursday in Cleveland.

Staying Silent:  After a scorching weekend, the Toronto Blue Jays' bats went cold against the Phillies last night. The Blue Jays' offence was feeble as they lost 7-0 to Philadelphia in the first of two games in Toronto. The game was a 1-0 nailbiter through the sixth until the Phillies scored six times in the final three innings. The teams play a matinee today as Marcus Stroman faces Zach Eflin.

Opting Out:  DeMar DeRozan will be reportedly be an unrestricted free agent after opting out of the final year of his contract Monday night. Cleveland.com's Chris Haynes was told by NBA sources that DeRozan had made the decision, which was due by tomorrow. DeRozan had a player option for $9.5 million for next season but will undoubtedly earn more on the open market.

Welcome Back:  It looks as though Randy Carlyle is getting a second chance with the Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks are expected to name Carlyle as their new head coach on Tuesday, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger. Carlyle was the bench boss for the Ducks from 2005 to 2011, winning a Stanley Cup with the team in 2007.

Euro Challenge:  Spain and Italy were winners in their first action at Euro 2016 yesterday while Sweden and Ireland played to a draw. Today, Hungary faces Austria to kick off action from Group F on the TSN Network at 11:30am et/8:30am pt. Later, Iceland will have its hands full with Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal on the TSN Network at 2:30pm et/11:30am pt.
