The NFL has suspended San Diego Chargers practice squad player Craig Watts without pay for four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

SAN DIEGO - The NFL has suspended San Diego Chargers practice squad player Craig Watts without pay for four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Watts is not eligible to join the active roster until the day following the fourth regular-season or post-season game of his suspension.
Watts is a guard. The suspension was announced Wednesday.
