OTTAWA - Offence has been easy to come by so far for the Ottawa 67's in the first-round of the playoffs.

Nevin Guy had a goal and four assists as the 67's routed the Niagara IceDogs 8-2 in Game 2 of their Ontario Hockey League series.

Ottawa has now scored 16 times against the IceDogs in the post-season to take a 2-0 series lead.

Dante Salituro had two goals while Jeremiah Addison, Jacob Middleton, Curtis Meighan, Alex Lintuniemi and Nathan Todd rounded out the attack. Six of the 67's goals came in the second period. Liam Herbst made 22 saves.

Mikkel Aagaard and Brendan Perlini found the back of the net for Niagara. Brent Moran started for the IceDogs and turned aside 5-of-10 shots in 30:31. Brandon Hope went the rest of the way, making seven saves.

Game 3 takes place on Monday in St. Catharines, Ont.

GREYHOUNDS 8 SPIRIT 2

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — Bryan Moore and Michael Bunting both scored twice and added an assist as the Greyhounds took a 2-0 series lead with a Game 2 win over Saginaw in first-round playoff action.

Justin Bailey also struck twice for Sault Ste. Marie. Nick Ritchie had a goal and three assists and Zachary Senyshyn rounded out the attack.

Michael Holmes and Artem Artemov found the back of the net in the second period for the Spirit.

Saginaw hosts Game 3 on Tuesday.
