SARNIA, Ont. - Matt Mistele and Sam Studnicka had a goal and an assist each as the Sarnia Sting staved off elimination with a 5-1 victory over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Saturday in Game 5 of their first round Ontario Hockey League playoff series.

Troy Lajeunesse, Pavel Zacha and Ryan McGregor also scored for Sarnia, which trail 3-2 in the series.

Gustav Bouramman had a power-play goal in the second period for the Greyhounds.

Charlie Graham turned aside 27 shots for the win. Brandon Halverson made 29 saves in defeat.

The Sting scored once on two power plays with Sault Ste. Marie converting once on eight power-play opportunities.

COLTS 3 STEELHEADS 0

BARRIE, Ont. — David Ovsjannikov stopped all 30 shots he faced and Andrew Mangiapane scored twice as the Colts took a 3-2 series advantage by shutting out Mississauga.

Kevin Labanc added a power-play goal in the second for Barrie.

Jack Flinn kicked out 29-of-31 shots for the Steelheads.
