Porter helps Americans rally past Rocket

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Justin Danforth and Kevin Porter scored in the second and third periods respectively as the Rochester Americans rallied past the Laval Rocket 4-2 on Sunday in American Hockey League play.
Zach Redmond and Daniel Muzito-Bagenda had goals 34 seconds apart in the first period for Rochester (29-15-15). Adam Wilcox made 21 saves for the win.
Adam Cracknell and Willie Corrin replied for Laval (22-28-8) to make it 2-2 by the first intermission. Michael McNiven stopped 25-of-28 shots in net for the Rocket, the AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens.
The Americans were 1 for 3 on the power play and Laval was 1 for 4 with the man advantage.
