Each night during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, TSN Hockey analyst and former NHL goaltender Jamie McLennan provides his Post 2 Post rankings for every goaltender in action.

Dallas Stars 3, St. Louis Blues 2

Brian Elliott (1):  Elliott had a rough night.  He looked off right from the get go.

Jake Allen (5): Allen did what he had to do, but was barely tested at all.  He faced only seven shots over two periods, which included two in the third period. He could have played this one from a lawn chair.

Kari Lehtonen (5):  A great effort by Lehtonen on Monday. He was brilliant when needed.  St.Louis pushed hard over the final two periods and he held strong.  He came up with big saves on Jay Bouwmeester, Carl Gunnarson, Troy Brouwer, Alex Steen, Paul Statsny, David Backes and perhaps no better save than the one on Jaden Schwartz with just 20 seconds left in the game.

Nashville Predators 4, San Jose Sharks 3 (OT)

Martin Jones (3): It was not a solid start for Jones.  The Ryan Johansen goal goes right through the body. He settled in as the game went on, facing a barrage of shots and chances.  He was able to come up with big saves on Colin Wilson, Mattias Ekholm, Mike Fisher while stoning James Neal three times.  The Viktor Arvidsson goal was a great shot, much more deceptive than people know as it’s very tough to read for a goalie coming off the stick as a backhand.  That being said, Jones needs to make that save.  It wasn’t his best night.

Pekka Rinne (3): Rinne looked shaky at times; he was not settled and smooth like we have seen him throughout the playoffs. That being said, he did make some big saves on Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau, and Joel Ward.  Rinne came up with a huge glove save early in OT on Joonas Donskoi; however he was bailed out by his teammates in this one.  The Preds were the better team on this night and went back down and scored the game winning goal.
