QMJHL: Blais, Lauzon lead Tigres past Cataractes
Samuel Blais and Felix Lauzon each had two goals and an assist as the Victoriaville Tigres topped the Shawinigan Cataractes 6-4 on Friday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

SHAWINIGAN, Que. - Samuel Blais and Felix Lauzon each had two goals and an assist as the Victoriaville Tigres topped the Shawinigan Cataractes 6-4 on Friday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Maxime Comtois scored once and added three assists for the Tigres (9-5-1) with Jake Barter adding the other.
Giovanni Fiore, Mathieu Olivier, Alexis D'Aoust and Jocktan Chainey found the back of the net for Shawinigan (11-3-0).
Olivier Tremblay made 33 saves for Victoriaville while Mikhail Denisov turned away 37 shots for the Cataractes.
The Tigres were 1 for 3 on the power play while Shawinigan scored once on five chances with the man advantage.

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Jonathan Bourcier scored four times and added two assists as Chicoutimi demolished the Drakkar.
Gabryel Paquin-Boudreau and Ladon Schiller both had a goal and two assists for Chicoutimi (5-8-1), which scored eight times in the first period. Garrett Johnston, Louis-Charles Lemay, Nicolas Roy, Frederic Allard, Zachary Lavigne and Antoine Marcoux rounded out the attack.
Simon Chevrier responded with a goal in the third period for the Drakkar (3-10-0).
Baie-Comeau's Nicolas Leblond was ejected at 6:43 of the third period for abuse of officials. Teammate Simon Chevrier later received a game misconduct for aggressor at 19:13 of the third period.

HALIFAX — Peyton Hoyt broke a tie with a power-play goal late in the second period as Cape Breton got past the Mooseheads.
Evgeny Svechnikov also scored on the power play for the Screaming Eagles (7-8-2). Phelix Martineau and Colby Tower rounded out the attack.
Barrett Dachyshyn opened the scoring for Halifax (6-9-2) early in the first period.
