QMJHL: Ratelle scores hat trick as Voltigeurs edge Phoenix
Joey Ratelle scored a hat trick as the Drummondville Voltigeurs edged the Sherbrooke Phoenix 6-5 on Saturday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Joey Ratelle scored a hat trick as the Drummondville Voltigeurs edged the Sherbrooke Phoenix 6-5 on Saturday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Nathan Hudgin, Pavel Koltygin and Charley Graaskamp rounded out the attack for the Voltigeurs (10-10-2).
Carl Neill had a goal and two assists for Sherbrooke (9-10-3). Jason Imbeault, Hugo Roy, Julien Pelletier and Felix Robert also chipped in.
Olivier Rodrigue made 29 saves for the win as Evan Fitzpatrick turned aside 23-of-29 shots in defeat.
Drummondville was scoreless on three power plays while the Phoenix went 3 for 5.

Justin Bernier, Samuel Guilbault, Mathieu Olivier and Alexis D'Aoust also scored in the third for Shawnigan (15-6-0). Mikhail Denisov made 22 saves.

SYDNEY, N.S. — Giovanni Fiore hat a hat trick and Kevin Mandolese stopped 30 shots as the Screaming Eagles beat Charlottetown.
Phelix Martineau had a goal and two assists, with Tobie Paquette-Bisson adding the other for Cape Breton (11-11-2).
Kameron Kielly, Keith Getson and Jake Coughler supplied the offence for the Islanders (13-10-1). Matthew Welsh kicked out 31-of-35 shots in net.

ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Philippe Myers, Bruno-Carl Denis and William Cyr all scored twice as the Huskies routed Rimouski.
Myers added an assist and Gabriel Fontaine had a goal and two helpers for Rouyn-Noranda (15-5-3). Antoine Waked added the other, Jean-Christophe Beaudin tacked on four assists and Samuel Harvey turned aside 26 shots.
Tyler Boland, Denis Mikhnin and Alex-Olivier Voyer found the back of the net for the Oceanic (11-12-1). Charles-Olivier Levesque stopped 20-of-26 shots in 46:21. Alexandre Lagace went the rest of the way and made three saves.
