The CFL has confirmed that Friday's game between the Ottawa Redblacks and Montreal Alouettes will go on as scheduled, two days after the shootings on and around Parliament Hill.

The Ottawa Senators game against the Toronto Maple Leafs scheduled for Wednesday night was postponed following the shootings. It will now be played on Sunday, November 9 at 6pm et. The Senators next home game is Saturday night against the New Jersey Devils.

Cpl. Nathan Cirillo was killed Wednesday morning when a gunman opened fire at the National War Memorial in Ottawa. Three others were injured as shootings continued on Parliament Hill. The gunman was reportedly shot and killed by Parliament's sergeant-at-arms.

"Our condolences go out to the family, friends, and comrades in arms of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo," The Redblacks tweeted on their official account Wednesday night "We are #OttawaStrong."
