Reggie Bush and the San Francisco 49ers appear to have dodged a bullet injury-wise.

According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Bush’s calf in strained, but the muscle isn’t torn.

The 49ers running back left the team’s 20-3 win over the Minnesota Vikings Monday night after just two carries, but was walking around without a limp on Tuesday, according to the report.

"He looked good," Tomsula told reporters. “He's not running yet, but he looks fine and they're treating him and he's going to get everything checked."

Bush has not been ruled out for the 49ers’ Week 2 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
