Andrew Luck is now the highest paid player in the NFL, according to reports.

The Indianapolis Colts quarterback reportedly signed a new six-year contract that will make him the highest paid player in the league, topping Joe Flacco's $22.1 million annual average salary.

Luck is coming off an injury-plagued season, playing only seven games last year, but has proven to be one of the better QB's when healthy.

The first overall pick in the 2012 Draft, Luck has 14,838 passing yards and 101 touchdowns to 55 interceptions in 55 career games.

His best year came in 2014 when he threw for 4,761 yards and 40 touchdowns to 16 interceptions.
