The San Antonio Spurs were able to eliminate the Houston Rockets without forward Kawhi Leonard on Thursday night. 

According to ESPN's Michael C. Wright, the Spurs won't have to face the same challenge in Game 1 against the Golden State Warriors. 

Wright reports Leonard, who's dealing with an ankle injury, is expected to be in the lineup when the two sides tip-off the Western Conference Finals on Sunday night. 

The 25-year-old leads the Spurs with an average on 27.8 points per game in the playoffs and 4.7 rebounds. He's also contributed an average on 7.7 rebounds per contest.

Leonard averaged 25.5 points per game in the regular season with 5.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists. 

Through 11 games in the postseason, Leonard has averaged 36.8 minutes on the floor per game.
