Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib is under investigation for an aggravated assault.

According to a report from Dallas television station WFAA, Talib and his brother are being investigated by the Dallas Police Department for an incident that occurred early Wednesday morning at a Dallas nightclub.

According to the report, police records indicated Talib and his brother were involved in a physical altercation outside the nightclub when a gun was fired.

The report states the gun was fired into the air.

Talib is one year into a six-year $57 million deal with the Broncos. The former first round draft pick has spent seven years in the league split between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, and Broncos.
