New York, NY - New England Revolution midfielder Kelyn Rowe was named MLS Player of the Week for the fourth week of the 2015 season.

Rowe bagged both goals in New England's 2-1 defeat of the San Jose Earthquakes at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, giving the Revs their first points of the season.

The opener came in the 21st minute as Rowe received a pass from Lee Nguyen and fired a shot toward goal that took a deflection on its way past David Bingham.

Rowe doubled the advantage eight minutes before halftime, pouncing a knockdown from Darius Barnes and punching home what turned out to be the winner.

The brace holds up as New England's lone goals of the season, and the Revs will aim to improve their offensive output on Saturday when they head to Dick's Sporting Goods Park to face the Colorado Rapids..
