HELSINKI - Oskar Lindblom had a two-point game and goaltender Felix Sandstrom made nine saves for the shutout as Sweden blanked Denmark 5-0 on Wednesday at the world junior hockey championship.

Sweden improved to 3-0 with the victory and has locked up first place in Group A.

Adrian Kempe opened the scoring just 13 seconds into the game at Helsinki Ice Hall. Gustav Forsling made it a 2-0 game with a power-play goal midway through the first period.

Lindblom, William Lagesson and Alexander Nylander had the other goals. Sweden outshot Denmark 48-9.

Denmark fell to 1-2 with the loss.
